Categories:19 total
Voting Closes:Aug 11, 2026, 8PM PST
Winners Announced:Sep 12, 2026 (RDC)
Reward:World Builder Hammer

How the Voting Panel Works

All 19 categories are open at the same time, so you never have to wait — you can vote straight through in one sitting. The panel sits behind the central Roblox icon at the hub's middle.

Use the left and right arrows inside the panel to move between categories, and your selections save the moment you click a nominee.

1

Find the central Roblox icon

Walk to the middle of the hub and stand in front of the large Roblox logo to open the voting portal.

2

Open the voting panel

Step onto the portal pad to bring up the category grid showing the four nominees per category.

3

Pick one nominee per category

Click your favorite game, creator, or studio — any choice counts, so vote for what you actually enjoy.

4

Arrow to the next category

Use the right arrow to advance; repeat until you have voted in all 19 categories.

⚠️ You must vote in all 19 categories — skipping even one forfeits the World Builder Hammer.

Trying Nominees Before Voting

Each genre category lets you jump into a nominee's game through the side portals before you vote, so you can make an informed choice rather than guessing from thumbnails. This also doubles as your route to the VFX Staff of Wizardry.

If you just want the reward fast, vote on name recognition — there is no penalty for quick picks, and you can always revisit a category later to change your mind.

💡 Portal-hopping to any nominee also grants the Interdimensional Travel badge — two birds, one stone.

Voting Rewards and Badges

Voting ties into two free items and one profile badge, all earned inside the same central portal area.

Voting Tips and Common Mistakes

A few habits make voting smoother and guarantee you do not miss the reward.

  • Do not leave the panel mid-run — progress is safest when you finish in one pass.
  • Count as you go; the panel does not show a live counter, so track your 19 manually.
  • Re-open the panel after voting to confirm all categories show your selection.
  • Vote before portal-hopping so a server disconnect cannot wipe your progress.
  • If a category looks empty, relog — a sync bug occasionally blanks the nominee list.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to vote in every category?

Only if you want the World Builder Hammer. You can vote in as few or as many categories as you like, but all 19 must be completed to unlock the reward.

Can I change my vote later?

Yes. Return to any category in the voting panel before August 11, 2026 and click a different nominee to update your selection.

When are the winners announced?

Winners are revealed at the Roblox Developers Conference on September 12, 2026 — roughly a month after voting closes.

Does voting cost anything?

No. Voting is completely free and only requires joining the experience. No Robux, passes, or purchases are involved.

What if the voting panel is empty?

Relog from the experience. A rare sync bug can blank the nominee list, and rejoining restores all four options per category.

Do my votes really affect the winners?

Yes — community votes feed the final tally that decides the Innovation Awards winners announced at RDC on September 12.
